A Shooting with Dia – An Experienced International Model

I had a fantastic and very fun shooting with the new Asian-American model Dia!

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Dia has experience on shibari for bondage-themed work. She even lived in Japan for several years, which shows in her incredible skills and understanding of rope.

What I loved most about working with her is how naturally gifted she is. She barely needs any direction, she instinctively finds beautiful, elegant poses. It’s rare and a real pleasure as a photographer.

I really enjoy shooting with international models. They’ve traveled the world and always have so many interesting stories to share. (I’m the same way, I’ve traveled a lot myself, especially in Asia, and have visited over 40 countries so far.)

For this session, we created three different scenes using Dia’s own outfits. The final look was a stunning chest harness that beautifully highlighted her figure. The result was elegant, please let me know in the comments if you like it !

It was truly a pleasure to work with Dia. She’s planning to retire from modeling soon, so I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to shoot with her before she steps away.
